| A native of western Nebraska, I grew up on a cattle ranch, where I learned to appreciate nature and wild life. They are two of my favorite art subjects, but the ones I like most are Native Americans and their culture. However twenty years in the Navy broadened my interests, so no subject is really off the table. I have no formal art training, but I have always been one of its students. I started in stained glass, but one trip to a large gourd show and I knew what my medium would be. With the gourd, and a few tools, only your imagination limits your creativity. |
