SRACF GRANTS PROGRAM - General Info
As the Arts Agency for Santa Rosa County, the Santa Rosa Arts & Culture Foundation,
Inc. (SRACF) administers the Santa Rosa County Community Arts Grant Program.  The
Community Arts Grant Program is available only to residents of Santa Rosa County. The
program is designed to allocate funds for proposals for $500 or less, and proposals up to
$5,000.00 (max amounts vary according to
available funds). Regional organizations
serving Santa Rosa County need to
contact SRACF for eligibility.

  • The program cycle is open for three months only from June to Sept.
  • Local news releases solicit applications prior to grant cycle.
  • Outside of the grant cycle period, October-April, applicants should look at the
    previous year's application form linked above to start gathering information required
    to complete the forms properly.
  • During the grant cycle period, May-September, applicants can download the proper
    current year forms linked above.
  • Applicants should either contact the Foundation, check this page in the Spring of
    the current year or stay alerted to the press releases in the local papers from May
    to September for scheduled announcements.

1. The "GENERAL" grant cycle schedule is as follows:
  • early  June .....   Release of Application Packets to the public
  • mid    July  ......   Workshop to explain the grant application process
  • early  Sept  ....    Deadline to receive completed grant applications
  • mid    Sept  .....   Workshop to train Grant Evaluation Committee (GEC)
                                     Delivery of grant packets to GEC
  • late    Sept  .....   GEC to hear final applicant’s defense,
                                    GEC Submits scored applications to SRACF
                                    Grant Committee/Chairman.
  • early Oct   .....     Presentations to grant recipients
                                     (mailed or at reception)

2. Eligibility Criteria for applying organizations:
  • The applicant must be based in Santa Rosa County.
  • No individuals may apply.
  • The applicant must be incorporated as a non-profit corporation within the State of
    Florida.
  • The applicant must provide a copy of the organization’s IRS 501(c)3 tax exempt
    letter of determination if the grant request exceeds $500.00.
  • Organizations serving multiple counties who are also eligible to receive grants
    through the Arts Council of Northwest Florida are only eligible to apply for SRACF
    grants in the Regional Programming category.

2009 Grants Awarded    
The Santa Rosa Arts and Culture Foundation announced 6 recipients of the Santa Rosa
County Community Arts Grant Program to regional and local arts and culture based
organizations. Due to the downturn of the economy and uncertainty for 2010 grants, the
County approved
administration of $20,500 of funding to be spread over years 2009 &
2010
with the understanding that  $3000 per year would go to support the Santa Rosa
County
School's "All County Youth Arts Exhibition" previously known as "Santa Rosa
Celebrates the Arts" involving K-12 grade students.  The following are the winners of the
2009 grants.

2009 Grant cycle is now closed. Please apply next year in April for a portion of  the
remaining grant funds allocated to 2010.  See details of grant program cycle above.
