The Santa Rosa Arts and Culture Foundation announced 7 recipients of the Santa
Rosa County Community Arts Grant Program that provided $13,500 of funding to
regional and local arts and culture based organizations and $3000 to Santa Rosa
County School Children's Arts Festival.  2008 Grant cycle is now closed. Please

SRACF GRANTS PROGRAM
As the Arts Agency for Santa Rosa County, SRACF, the Santa Rosa Arts & Culture
Foundation, Inc. (SRACF), administers the Santa Rosa County Community Arts
Grant Program.  The Community Arts Grant Program is available only to residents
of Santa Rosa County. The program is designed to allocate funds for proposals
for $500 or less, and proposals up to $5,000.00. Regional organizations serving
Santa Rosa County need to
contact SRACF for eligibility.

  • The program cycle is open for three months only from April to June.
  • Local news releases solicit applications several months prior to grant cycle.
  • Applicants should look at the previous year's application form linked below
    to start gathering information required to complete the forms properly.
  • Applicants should either contact the Foundation, check this page in March  
    or stay alerted to the press releases in the local papers from January
    through May for future schedule announcements.

1. The "GENERAL" grant cycle schedule is as follows:
  • early  April  .....  Release of Application Packets to the public
  • mid     April .....  Workshop to explain the grant application process
  • early  June .....  Deadline to receive completed grant applications
  • mid    June  .....  Workshop to train Grant Evaluation Committee (GEC)
                                  Delivery of grant packets to GEC
  • late    June  .....  GEC to hear final applicant’s defense,
                                  GEC Submits scored applications to SRACF
                                  Grant Committee/Chairman.
  • late   June   .....   Public presentations to grant recipients/reception
                                   (usually at annual membership meeting)

2. Eligibility Criteria for applying organizations:
  • The applicant must be based in Santa Rosa County.
  • No individuals may apply.
  • The applicant must be incorporated as a non-profit corporation within the
    State of Florida.
  • The applicant must provide a copy of the organization’s IRS 501(c)3 tax
    exempt letter of determination if the grant request exceeds $500.00.
  • Organizations serving multiple counties who are also eligible to receive
    grants through the Arts Council of Northwest Florida are only eligible to
    apply for SRACF grants in the Regional Programming category.
