Riverwalk ARTS Festival Participants
Welcome to the newly expanded 2010 Riverwalk Arts Festival!
May 22nd & 23rd
(Application Deadline Extended to May 7th)

To participate in the upcoming Riverwalk Arts Festival click on one of the
yellow boxes above appropriate to your category to download your
application form. Complete the form and mail it in with your appropriate
booth and/or jury fees.

Anyone may send in their advance intent to apply or participate by using
the
"Contact Us" page.
This will help us with advance layout planning.

However, Booth spaces will NOT be reserved until applications and fees
have been received, juried for the fine arts competition if applicable and
confirmed by the Festival Committee.

All artists who were juried in past Riverwalk Festivals will be accepted
without submitting new photos. However, to compete in the
$4000 of cash awards, jury fees are still applicable.

All new participants must provide photos of 2-3 original pieces of art work
to be juried into the festival.

Heritage artists must be willing to demonstrate their craft.

This festival is NOT open to resellers. Only exception are cultural groups
selling ethnic wares made by collection of their peers.

The Fine Arts Competition is opened to all juried fine arts who would like
to participant.  A minimum of 5 entries per category are needed for
Independent judges to award the following prizes.

$1000  -  Best of Show (over all Categories)
$300 - 1st in Category (x5)
$200 - 2nd in Category (x5)
$100 - 3rd in Category (x5)

Show attendance has varied in the past from year to year primarily
influenced by cold windy March weather.
This year, the Festival Committee is anticipating 10,000-15,000+ in
attendance with plans to accommodate 150-200 booths and
two or more performance stages/venues.
The "All County Youth Art Exhibition" coordinated throughout art programs
open to all school age children/students K-12 will also be on display with
ribbons and cash prizes.

Responding to past participant suggestions, the Festival Committee has
changed the date to the warmer days of late Spring in May.  Advertising
has been expanded to include local and out of state print, radio, TV,
magazines, online postings via numerous news/activity calendar sites and
direct mailings.

To insure the greatest support, the Festival is working closely with the City
of Milton, the County, the Tourism Board, local businesses, security,
numerous community volunteers and of course,
our "art and culture loving" Foundation supporters.

Hope you will come and join our Festival.
We are encouraging early arrivals and late departures to "tour" our
beautiful white sandy beaches and rivers of Santa Rosa County.

If you would like to come by RV or Boat,
email Festival Chairman,  Ann Scott,
about our special accommodations just for this Festival.
